Hmmmmm.... this is the part where I have to challenge my normally shy nature. Oddly, I'm very confident in my professional life but for some reason that confidence just disappears when it comes to meeting new people in my personal life.
A little bit about myself:
My work requires that I travel part of the year but the reward is that I have at least three months of the year off. Unfortunately, this type of schedule has cost me some friends and relationships along the way. I'm good at staying in touch while working but need somebody who is independent and confident enough to be content when I'm not home every night. (In fact confidence - not cockiness - is a huge turn on for me. ) I don't intend to maintain this schedule for the rest of my life. Finding the right person to spend time with just might just be the motivation I need to stay in one place for a while.
I enjoy the great outdoors but big adventure is in my past. (I might explain why another time.) I grew up working with Govet so dirt doesn't scare me. In fact there is something very satisfying about a good productive day working as a Socail reasearcher. I enjoy walking trails and miss the changes of the seasons that I grew up with in Virginia. Life brought me to TX but my heart is further north where you can smell the trees and soil. All that said, I'm not a complete nature nut. I cherish the AC in the summer, love a good pedicure and appreciate the comfort of a snuggly sofa.
Ideal match description:
I`m hoping to find someone who has passion for the things they feel are important in their life. Life is too short for coasting. If you have it in you but haven`0t expressed it lately, maybe we can work on getting each other kick-started.
